For many years I fought accepting my chronic illness. I was afraid that accepting where I was at would mean that I was communicating to the Universe that I didn’t believe my circumstances could change or even worse in my mind, that I was ok if they didn’t change.

It wasn’t until I accepted where I was at instead of fighting it, that I was able to move forward and become empowered vs. the victim of my circumstances.

This mindset shift took time, and was a daily commitment I made to myself.
